| Erythromelalgia is a rare neurovascular disease characterized by a complex pathogenesis. It is associated with genetic factors, peripheral nervous system disorders, peripheral vascular diseases, hematologic disorders, sudden temperature changes, and other factors. Additionally, there have been reports suggesting a link between erythromelalgia and tumors. However, the etiology and pathogenesis of erythromelalgia lack detailed and comprehensive information. Thus, the authors aim to address this gap by collecting and organizing both domestic and international data. This review seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of erythromelalgia, while offering valuable academic references for clinical and scientific research. The ultimate goal is to enhance our knowledge of erythromelalgia, develop effective preventive strategies, and propose new treatment approaches. |
