| Biguanides are known to inhibit glycogen output,increase the use of glucose,and enhance insulin sensitivity.In practice,the biguanides also work along with insulin and other oral medications.However,when it combined with other drugs,the enzymology pharmacokinetics actions may occur.Biguanides can cause lactic acidosis,hepatotoxicity,and hypomagnesemia.This paper will give an overview of the interactions and adverse reactions of metformin with other drugs. |
