Objective To analyze the dispensing pattern of medicines used by Li Shurong, a famous national veteran traditional Chi.nese medicine practitioner, in the treatment of heart-spleen deficiency-type insomnia disease using data mining technology. Methods The prescriptions of patients who visited the Li Shurong Outpatient Department of Qinhuangdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi.cine from August 2020 to August 2022 were collected, and the prescriptions of patients with heart-spleen deficiency-type insomniawere organized and screened. The frequency of medication and common drug combinations were counted by the Traditional ChineseMedicine Inheritance Aid System (TCMISS V2.5), and the association rules and core drug combinations of drugs were also analyzedbased on association rules, the improved mutual information method, and entropy clustering analysis of complex systems. Results A total of 257 prescriptions for the treatment of heart-spleen deficiency-type insomnia were screened out, involving 94 flavors of Chinesemedicines, with a total frequency of 1 944 times of use, averaging 12 flavors of Chinese medicines per prescription. There were 21 tradi.tional Chinese medicines used more than 30 times, and the top 10 were Jujube kernel, Angelica, Astragalus, Liquorice, Polygala tenui.folia, Atractylodes macrocephala, Fushen, Polygonum multiflorum vine, Woody incense and Codonopsis pilosula, with the main effectsof nourishing the heart, tranquilizing the mind and tonifying the blood and qi. According to the efficacy analysis of the drugs in the pre.scription, those with a utilization rate of more than 60% were tonic, tranquilizing the mind, invigorating blood, regulating qi and induc.ing diuresis. According to the meridian analysis of drugs, the highest frequency was the spleen meridian. A total of 45 commonly useddrug combinations were mined based on the association rules, and the top 5 ranked according to the frequency of use were Jujube ker.nel-Angelica, Angelica-Astragalus, Atractylodes macrocephala-Angelica, Angelica-Polygala tenuifolia, and Jujube kernel-Angelica-As. tragalus. A total of 29 drug-use association rules were obtained, of which the top 5 were Angelica→Jujube kernel, Jujube kernel→An.gelica, Astragalus→Jujube kernel, Atractylodes macrocephala→Jujube kernel, Polygala tenuifolia→Jujube kernel, and Jujube kernel,Angelica, Astragalus, Atractylodes macrocephala, and Polygala tenuifolia were the core of the association network, and there were asso. ciations between the front and back items of each rule. There were 16 core drug combinations obtained by evolution, of which the top 5frequency rankings were Angelica-Atractylodes macrocephala-Jujube kernel-Astragalus-Polygala tenuifolia, Polygala tenuifolia-Atracty. lodes macrocephala-Glycyrrhiza, Polygala tenuifolia-Polygonum multiflorum vine-Albizzia bark, Fushen-Albizzia bark-dried tangerine peel, and jujube-Calamus-ginger. The treatment effectiveness rate was 92.22%. The medicinal flavors with P < 0.05 in the cardinal re. sults of matching efficiency among the medicines used ≥ 30 times were: Jujube kernel and Fushen, and it showed that the prescriptioncontaining Jujube kernel and fushen was great. Conclusions The drug prescriptions of Li Shurong, a national famous veteran tradition.al Chinese medicine practitioner, for the treatment of insomnia disease with heart-spleen deficiency are mostly based on drugs thatnourish the heart and tranquilize the mind, replenish the blood and benefit the qi, and the drug combinations discovered by associationrules have potential application value in the clinic. |
