糖尿病(diabetes mellitus, DM)是以慢性高血糖为特征的代谢性疾病,睑板腺功能障碍(meibomian gland dysfunction ,MGD)是以睑板腺终末导管阻塞和/或睑脂分泌的质或量异常为主要特征的慢性、弥漫性睑板腺病变,糖尿病目前已被广泛证实与MGD具有强相关性,考虑与高血糖驱动的上皮角化、脂质代谢紊乱、慢性炎症、氧化应激及微生物失衡等多因素的交互作用有关,本综述将重点探讨糖尿病引发MGD的潜在机制,为糖尿病患者睑板腺功能障碍的早期诊断与干预提供理论支持。 |

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by chronic hyperglycemia. Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) is a chronic, diffuse meibomian gland disorder primarily characterized by obstruction of the terminal ducts of the meibomian glands and/or abnormalities in the quality or quantity of meibomian gland secretions. Diabetes has been extensively established to have a strong association with MGD, potentially due to the interplay of multiple factors such as hyperglycemia-driven epithelial keratinization, lipid metabolism disorders, chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, and microbial imbalance. This review focus on exploring the potential mechanisms by which diabetes causes MGD,providing theoretical support for the early diagnosis and intervention of meibomian gland dysfunction in diabetic patients. |
