| 低龄儿童龋( early childhood caries，ECC)是一种慢性和破坏性的口腔疾病，持续影响着世界各地的婴幼儿和学龄前儿童。 ECC会导致儿童出现牙齿疼痛、咀嚼困难等症状，从而影响儿童的营养摄入和吸收，进而造成长期的健康问题和营养不良。此外，营养不良会降低儿童的唾液分泌和质量，从而影响口腔的清洁和缓冲能力，最终导致 ECC的发生和发展。建议未来的研究应该采用更多的前瞻性方法，减少混杂因素的干扰，以阐明 ECC和儿童营养状况之间的因果关系。 ECC、营养不良都有着共同的危险因素，二者对儿童的危害不容忽视，了解 ECC和营养不良之间的关系，有助于我们设计和实施有效的公共卫生应对措施，解决共同的风险因素。建立良好的口腔保健意识和饮食习惯有益于儿童的口腔健康和全身健康。 |

| Early childhood caries (ECC) is a chronic and destructive oral disease that continues to affect infants and pre-school chil-dren around the world. ECC can cause symptoms such as tooth pain and difficulty chewing in children, which can affect children's in-take and absorption of nutrients, leading to long-term health problems and malnutrition. In addition, malnutrition can reduce the secre-tion and quality of children's saliva, affecting the cleaning and buffering capacity of the oral cavity and ultimately leading to the onsetand development of ECC. Current studies on the association between malnutrition and ECC are inconsistent. It is recommended that fu-ture studies use more prospective methods and reduce the impact of confounding factors to clarify the causal relationship between ECCand children's nutritional status. Both ECC and malnutrition share common risk factors, and their harm to children cannot be ignored.Understanding the relationship between ECC and malnutrition will help us design and implement effective public health interventionsto address common risk factors. Developing good oral health awareness and dietary habits is beneficial for children's oral health andgeneral health. |
